Fish defrosting automation by EKF

We are excited to share our recent project focused on automating fish defrosting facilities using EKF equipment.

Our team has developed a sophisticated control system for three defrosting chambers, with the primary goal of ensuring efficient management of air circulation, fogging, cooling, and heating processes.

The EKF team has engineered a solution that maintains optimal conditions for processing products:

— PRO-Logic programmable controllers provide reliable control by integrating various systems and automating temperature and humidity monitoring and control.

— PRO-Screen operator panels (HMIs) feature an intuitive interface, making it easier for operators to set up and monitor the equipment.

— VECTOR-100 frequency converters regulate system fans, ensuring proper air circulation and uniform temperature distribution.

This project has significantly enhanced the efficiency of the defrosting process, allowing for uniform and rapid defrosting of fish and seafood. This not only preserves product quality but also optimizes energy use and boosts the production profitability.
