EKF Equipment Enhances Fish Drying Processes in the Samara Region

EKF partners have successfully automated three industrial air-drying chambers in the Samara region, utilizing our cutting-edge solutions. They have assembled control cabinets equipped with EKF control technology to streamline operations.
At the core of the automation are EKF's PRO-Logic programmable logic controllers (PLCs), meticulously managing the fish drying schedule. These PLCs are instrumental in maintaining precise control over temperature, humidity, and air circulation by coordinating the operation of heaters, air vents, and external AC units, ensuring optimal conditions for drying.

The PRO-Screen operator panels, our user-friendly human-machine interface (HMI) devices, facilitate real-time monitoring and operation. Operators can access vital process parameters, archive historical data, and respond to system alerts and alarms. Furthermore, these panels enable direct local control over the system's equipment, streamlining the operation.

By incorporating APD-32 motor starters equipped with thermal-magnetic trip units our parners have ensured high degree of electric motor protection and efficiency. These starters are essential for the reliable switching of AC circuits and safeguard three-phase asynchronous motors from overload, phase failure, and short circuits.

To guarantee a consistent and high-quality power supply for the PLCs, our DR series power supply units were put to use. These units guarantee the reliability and stability of the power essential for the PLCs' continuous operation.
